i imagine myself to stand at the top of the mountain and hills, looking down on mankind and shaking my head and sympathising with their lack of foreward-ness (if there should be even such a word) in technology. why are blogs such a phenomenon now, i cannot comprehend. was it not a hooha already long time ago. but if this anti-blog cause is one i support, then why it is that i am re-creating a new blog? this i cannot comprehend too. in awe of myself, my instinctive nature to go through something and yet not understand why i do so.

on a lighter note, just to say hi to all i will not get to meet up with before i fly home again on the first. i cannot wait. and the date on the calendar never seems to adjust!

now, back to the heavy stuff. am on msn with atticus . was confiding in him (yah yah you say. then should it not be a secret) that my social life is on a standstill. things are getting back on track acutally. i try to comfort myself. but its the usual mad rush to meet all the people you need to have dinners with just the acutal week before you fly off. oh well. beats not meeting up at all. my week is full till sun. except sat. i hope he remembers.

a few more things, nothing depressing this time:
1. past birthdays in the month of may. re-his and birthday wishes to missy elly and huiru. missy elly, it is absolutely rude of you not to reply a birthday sms and call to spend all your time with nas!!! grinds teeth. haaha. kidding girl.

and huiru, yes of course i remember. 21 is our special number because i was a 21st-day baby 20 years ago too! text u a date to meet up yah. maybe sunday for breakfast. lets have char kuay teow. i have a craving!!

and pei ching. oh dear. couldnt get to sending u a card. but hihis again and hope your birthday was good. did u spend the day with some hunk huh? hint hint

2. I got a very pleasant surprise. Ade, pei and mel actually posted me a card!!! that really added a blast to my day you know. ade, i am sorry i couldnt get to the airport to send you off. and i cant quite call you but i sent u an email. thanks babes. very happy. but apologies for the delay in receiving the card. i never had the energy to open the post. i am a piece of battery dying out soon.

3. more birthdays to come this month: dadi LP, and there is someone else. i cant remember the name now but i have it in my book. at home.

4. ohh ohh ohh. a big hearty congratulations to eng and mr chua (calling you mister makes u sound old doesnt it): i really enjoyed your wedding dinner! the food of course and oogling at the bride, the prettiest girl around! haaha. so many people are geting hitched off in May are they not. congrats to Marilyn and Rayson(?! I am bad with names) too - sorry i couldnt make it down to your dinner. had a farewell dinner to attend.

ahh. blogging can be a tiring chore. but i am happy/pleased/contented now.
